James Jennings: Born in Fontana in 1994 and growing up in Big Bear City, California, James is a painter living in Charleston, SC. After completing his Bachelors in Computer Information Systems and working a regular office job, he recently decided to quit to pursue his passion for art full time while waiting tables at a local restaurant. James creates his paintings with multiple layers on wood panels using oil paint. He enjoys working on portraits and capturing the human form with etched expression.

Currently, all his digital paintings are done using Procreate. For traditional pieces, he uses oil paints (Winsor Newton, Gamblin, and MyArtscape); while his go to oil medium is linseed and bees wax. Other miscellaneous tools include Moleskine sketchbooks, Liquitex gesso, and various brushes.
